Nicomex

Nicomex is a family owned business established in 1926 to provide customs management services that assisted companies importing equipment essential then to the development of the state of Rio de Janeiro.

Nicomex began providing international freight forwarding services in the 70’s. Through the provision of both customs management and freight forwarding services,  Nicomex was able to offer an integrated logistics service that ensured speed, safety and cost-efficiency at every step of the logistics process.

In 2000, Nicomex developed “Smart Express”, an international courier service that now provides exclusive express delivery services to meet the specific needs of the Oil & Gas industry.

In 2001, Nicomex developed “Nicomex Noticias” online newsletter to deliver the latest national and international news relevant to the oil & gas, international trade and shipbuilding industries for over 30,000 subscribed readers.
